addison + daneale wedding | kansas city wedding photographer

One thing that I can honestly say about my wedding clients are that they are beautiful people on the inside and out. I absolutely love them to pieces and Addison and DaNeale are no exception.:)I’ve known both Addison and DaNeale for a while so when I learned of their engagement, I was especially excited for them!

Addison went to great lengths to propose to DaNeale including making her very angry the night before he popped the question just so she wouldn’t be aware of what was going on. The next day during church service, DaNeale was sitting there when she saw her childhood pictures as well as Addison’s playing on a projector in front of the congregation. While the pictures were being shown, that was when Addison came out and proposed.:D

The wedding ceremony was held at Antioch Baptist Church in Topeka.

After the ceremony ended, we headed to the Capitol Plaza Hotel which was the location of the reception. Seeing as it was 95 degrees (the hottest day of the year so far, I’m sure), we tried to stay inside as much as possible.

Cake, bouquet, and garter tosses.

This was by far one of the most creative garter tosses that I have ever witnessed! Instead of just taking off the garter, Addison removed a lock, “Keep Out” sign, and a chain. It was too funny!

Addison and DaNeale–congratulations! It’s so refreshing to see a great example of a Christ-centered union. It was a pleasure to work with the both of you and good luck in Georgia!
